Alzheimer’s is becoming an ever more prevalent condition with the increasing ageing population.

In the UK 850 thousand people have the disease and 40 thousand of these are younger people.

Many people are in the position of having to care for someone with this debilitating disease, often as sole carers with no emotional, physical or financial support.

Unpaid carers currently save the UK taxpayer in excess of £11 billion a year.
